Who knew?

Eddie Gaven scored the winning goal to send the U.S. to the Olympics. I know they probably picked this story up on wire services, but did anyone at mediotiempo watch the game? At all?

It's about as accurate as the birthplace on the Jesus Padilla player profile.

Listing Gaven as the scorer of the first US goal was a mistake from EFE's wire servcie report on the game. Other outlets like mediotiempo just got the wrong info from the EFE story.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that will be the first and last time Gaven is Mistaken for Adu.

I think after Mexico's elimination, interest in Olympic qualifying has diminished in the MT arena, although that is no excuse.

Gaven, Adu, whats the difference, ni en su casa los conocen. jaja
